The Team

Our Belief

“We believe that every actor and filmmaker possesses a unique voice and a form of expression. We aim to help each of our students harness their potential and create a professional career in their chosen field. Every teacher at the studio is a working actor/filmmaker enabling them to bring their real-world and hands-on experience to the studio. At JGS we also produce an array of projects from films, theatre, web-series, television commercials, and scene work. Every student that joins a workshop becomes a member of the studio. We aspire to create a collective of like-minded artists who work together and grow as a family. ”

Yashhraj Singh
(Teaching Faculty)

Hola!
A spiritually sexy guy who has studied in an Anglo-Indian school and spent much of his youth in the streets of Bandra exploring new burger places and anything that gives him the next hit of inspiration.
Grown up…and nothing has changed apart from the fact that I get a bit more tanned in the sun while intellectually masturbating about various different ideas and new plays for me to direct and indulge in.
My life’s aim is to prove to the world that acting is simple and not as hectic as it sounds in these “BOOKS”.

Since then she has learned Carnatic, Hindustani and Western vocals cumulatively for 10 years; graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University and found her true calling as an actor after studying and teaching the method at the Jeff Goldberg Studio. Having done numerous plays, a few short films and even fewer features; she can now be found nerding out about Greek mythology, Spanish poetry and self-deprecating humour.
